Chia Seeds

Well I have my wheatgrass, but what’s next…Chia Seeds! I have read a lot about them and they are super healthy, tiny little seeds that you can add to just about anything. Here is why they are so good for you-

“With more omega-3 fatty acids than salmon, a wealth of antioxidants and minerals, a complete source of protein and more fibre than flax seed, the seeds have been dubbed a “dieter’s dream”, “the running food”, “a miracle”, and “the ultimate super food”, by advocates and athletes.”

WOW. I heard about a Chia Seed pudding that sounded great, so I tried it…

I just added my favourite soya milk to the seeds (about a tablespoon of seeds and cover with the milk). You can use any kind of milk, almond milk is also nice. You can also sweeten if you want. Let it rest in the fridge for about an hour, stir and enjoy! It’s very weird. Kind of like tapioca pudding. Also try it mixed in yoghurt or porridge. Try it and see what you think!

Sicily Plank it out

The Plank is one of my favourite exercises and do it every single day! It focuses on control, stamina and strength of the core as well as a whole body work out. There is no set time for this. So just practicing getting into the correct position and gradually building up your time as you get and feel stronger. If you can, try this next to a mirror so you can see you alignment! Play with it, enjoy and practice everyday to see results!
